HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Harrisburg City Council must wait to override the mayor's veto of their 2012 budget.On Tuesday night, council voted to meet again Thursday after learning they must wait three days by law to override any veto.Council leaders said their budget does affect public safety and does not cut state and federal mandates as Mayor Linda Thompson claimed in her veto message.Council is expected to override the veto at 5 p.m. Thursday.
